WELCOME TO OUR BRAND NEW WEBSITE!!!
There are thousands of organizations, each with a specific purpose or goal. There are so many reasons why one should consider becoming part of Boy Scouts. By building an effective web site, we hope to get our message out to a larger audience of people interested in similar iterest.

Summer camp will be July 5-11 at Many Point in Minnesota. Web site is www.manypoint.org.
Spring Camporee:   The first group is leaving from the Scout House at 4:30pm.  The second group is leaving from the Scout House at 6:00pm.Track boys need to shower before they get into the cars and drive us out.   We will be returning after breakfast on Sunday. Time depends on how fast everyone gets up and moving.  We will return to the Scout House for the parents to pick up their Scout. We'll call when we are on the road so you have an idea when we will get here.
The troop has tents for everyone. If you have your own tent and want to use it, that's fine.   Everyone must bring their own sleeping bag. Wouldn't hurt to have an air mattress or sleeping pad. Makes the ground a lot softer. Bring a coat and hat, it will get cold when the sun goes down.  Bring your Class A Uniform for the ceremony Saturday night. Bring a change of clothes, never know when you could get wet or muddy.  30% chance of rain so wouldn't hurt to bring a rain coat. Bring a folding chair in a bag. There may be picnic tables there to sit at but everyone likes to sit in a chair when we are relaxing.  The ground gets hard.

May 7:  Boy Scouts have been invited to the prayer breakfast at the Community Bldg to do the Flag Ceremony.

Memorial Day:  Boy Scouts have been invited to the ceremony at the City Park to do the Flag Ceremony.

Any questions, call Mark or myself.

Yours in Scouting,
Mike Vander Berg, Asst Scoutmaster
